Abstract

This empowerment program aims to establish rural economic sovereignty through the intervention of Appropriate Technology (AT) and branding strategies within the agro-industrial sector of Gonggang Village, Magetan Regency. The applied approach encompasses production machinery engineering to achieve operational efficiency, alongside brand identity development to elevate the products' aesthetic value. The implementation results demonstrate a significant escalation in household net income, driven by the curtailment of per-unit production costs and the adaptability of market selling prices. Institutionally, this intervention has catalyzed the revitalization of village agro-industrial organizations, fostering a more managerial and bankable business profile, while granting moral legitimacy for local products to compete equivalently in modern retail markets. On a macro level, this program not only provides strategic empirical data to update the agricultural socio-economic curriculum in higher education institutions but also presents an effective, low-cost prototype for poverty alleviation policies for the Magetan Regency Government. The synergy between mechanical technology and visual creativity has proven to be the primary catalyst for rural economic transformation.
