Abstract

Driven by the imperative to elevate rural economic resilience, this initiative introduces a strategic integration of Appropriate Technology (AT) and institutional restructuring for the farming community in Ronowijayan Village. The substitution of manual labor with mechanical technology has effectively reduced daily operational costs while accelerating the cultivation and harvesting cycles. This cost reduction ensures that profit margins are fully integrated into the farmers' household economy, ultimately boosting their purchasing power and improving access to quality education. Furthermore, the revitalization of village economic institutions—by shifting from individual transaction patterns to a collective system . The establishment of a professional and accountable Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) profile has also enhanced their creditworthiness (bankability), facilitating negotiations to secure the People's Business Credit (KUR) for future expansion of production facilities. For higher education institutions, this direct community involvement provides unparalleled empirical data for updating the literature and curriculum of agricultural socio-economics. Meanwhile, for the local government, the success of this mechanical and institutional engineering presents a realistically validated public policy blueprint. This poverty alleviation model, which has proven capable of multiplying the village's economic output without placing an excessive burden on the regional budget, is highly recommended for replication on a broader policy scale.
