Enhancing farmer entrepreneurship is a strategic effort to strengthen the rural economy and increase the added value of the agricultural sector. The Mranggen region has significant agricultural potential, but most farmers still rely on conventional farming practices with a low level of business diversification and minimal use of information technology in business development.
This activity aims to increase farmers' entrepreneurial capacity through business diversification and the use of information technology. The implementation method uses a participatory approach through training, hands-on practice, and ongoing mentoring. The materials provided include business development based on local potential, agricultural product innovation, strengthening business management, and the use of information technology and digital media for product marketing.
The results of the activity indicate an increase in farmers' knowledge and skills in developing more diverse and value-added businesses. Farmers are beginning to diversify their businesses through agricultural processing and new product development. Particularly social media and digital platforms, has had a positive impact on expanding market access and enhancing product promotion.
Thus, this program makes a positive contribution to increasing farmers' entrepreneurial capacity, expanding business opportunities through diversification, and encouraging the use of information technology in agribusiness development in the Mranggen region
