Abstrak

This empowerment program aims to elevate the scale of material welfare for the local artisan community in the Tanjungsepreh area through the intervention of Appropriate Technology (AT) and marketing digitalization. The substitution of manual labor methods with AT machinery has proven capable of drastically reducing physical fatigue while simultaneously multiplying the production capacity of goods. Concurrently, interventions in packaging design and the establishment of digital marketing channels (marketplaces) have expanded the distribution reach beyond the island with a more equitable economic value. The synergy between production efficiency and market expansion directly yields healthy cash liquidity for the residents' economy. On the institutional dimension, a digital sales track record and representative packaging have successfully elevated the professionalism profile of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), thereby increasing their creditworthiness (bankability) before banking institutions to access the People's Business Credit (KUR). On a macro level, the success of this empowerment model provides strategic empirical contributions for updating teaching materials in higher education institutions and offers a science and technology-based blueprint for poverty alleviation for the local government.
